Welcome to Immaculate Conception Parish!

A Message from Bishop Lucia (March 9-10, 2024)

I would like to inform you that as of July 1 there will be one pastor for Immaculate Conception Church and St. Ann Church in Manlius. As you know, Father Tom Ryan announced his retirement as of June 30, 2024 after serving as pastor of Immaculate Conception Church since 2006. I am grateful for his leadership and pastoral ministry to the Fayetteville community and the many communities he has served during his tenure in the diocese.

Currently the number of active clergy makes it challenging to appoint a priest as pastor of solely one parish.  Thankfully, we are benefitting from the gifts and talents of deacons and lay leaders who are serving in various roles including Parish Life Directors, like Dc. Bob Street at St. Ann’s Church.  This model allows the parish to continue to grow and meet the spiritual needs of the faithful and further the mission of evangelization.  Each and every one of  us has a role in that mission and I pray that more leaders – both lay and clergy- will be invited and accept God’s call to serve.  As we journey through this Lenten season, may we be open to the stirrings of the Holy Spirit.
